Gothenburg is Sweden’s gateway to the west, and known for its welcoming and relaxed spirit. Take a day excursion in the wonderful archipelago and experience the dramatic rocky scenery.

Heading north east from Gothenburg, a stop in the little charming town Granna is a must, at the eastern shore of Lake Vattern. A short distance further north you board the Gota Canal ship, to take you on a canal cruise. At Berg you find a most stunning view with 9 locks in a row! At the Open Air museum, “Old Linkoping”, there are about 80 different buildings, many open to the public and also housing craftsman workshops. Stockholm is a charming city, built on 14 islands. The Royal Castle, Cathedral and “Old Town” are located on the smallest island.

Stockholm is considered to be one of the most beautiful capitals in the world, built on 14 islands. The unique old town is located on the same island as the Royal Palace and Cathedral. In the City Hall the Nobel Prize festivities take place in December every year. Cruising on an overnight ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki, you pass some of the 24.000 islands in the Stockholm archipelago. Helsinki, “daughter of the Baltic”, has a cosmopolitan atmosphere, where west and east meet.

The architecture has influences from the Swedish and Russian periods, as well as modern Finnish architecture. Ferry crossing to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia.The well-preserved Old Town with cobblestone streets, historical buildings and breathtaking viewpoints, is registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Return to Stockholm by overnight ferry.
