Kiruna Municipality is Sweden’s northernmost and largest municipality by area, located in Lapland. Known as an arctic hub, it offers a unique combination of, industrial, and natural experiences, featuring the world’s largest underground iron ore mine, which offers guided tours. The city is currently undergoing a massive urban transformation, moving the city center 3 km east to accommodate mining expansion.
